Here's little about me: I'm Meeri Parkkinen (Mepa for short), a 17-year old (b.day: Aug/24/1980) high school girl from Finland (Lappeenranta). And in case you don't know where Finland is, it's in the Northern part of the world, between Russia and Sweden...and in case you don't know where those are...well, then you'll just have to check from a map.
I have an older brother, Paavo (18 yrs). And I also have a dog and a rat. His name is Teuvo.
My favorite hobby is horse riding, but i also ski (slalom), photograph, hang
out with my friends, listen to music and watch TV (I get hooked to TV-shows incredibly fast and easily). I'm going to start dog agility with my dog as soon as we pass the test to "get in". Click here to find out more about Dog Agility (in Finland)
Music is something I couldn't live without. I listen to almost anything (ok, well not classical, country...and stuff like that). Some great bands and singers are Janet Jackson, The Firm, Mase, Smashing Pumpkins, Sublime...There's loads of them...But one that's my absolute favorite at the moment is Jewel. She's so unbelievable! I just LOVE her music!!
I also L*O*V*E animals! Especialy dogs, horses, whales and dolphins. The Best animal in the world is THE KILLER WHALE (a link to Kim Laffoon's cool whale page!) , or ORCINUS ORCA (this page has some unbelievable pics!). Be sure to check those links out if you like whales!
My dog is a Soft
Coated Wheaten Terrier. Her name is "Peace 'n Flowers My Hippie Chick"
